So, last weekend I pulled myself away from all my twi-related MADNESS and got to hanging with my IRL friends as opposed to my interweb friends (who all rock…you know who you are!)
For Fun My BFF Jaime and her family invited us over for Sunday

WHY ARE THEY SO FREAKIN CUTE?!?!!!
Brunch…keeping it classy…You know how we do… (Pizza, salad, chips and tea)
Anyway, after “Brunch” the guys watched the Laker game…Blah blah blah…and the LADIES headed out to the Wild Animal Park. The babies were so excited…they could hardly contain their glee, so they held hands to keep each other grounded. Once we got there, we walked around looking for the darn train that

Running AWAY from the fun!! Go Figure!
takes you allround the “African Plains”. If you’ve never done it, you should on your next trip to SD it is the awesomest. Well, since it took us so long to find it, we arrived just in time for the “Closed” sign to be put up. So on our trip to the Wild Animal Park we only saw, a few gorillas, a bird that sounded like a ghetto housepartygoer when he hooted, and one sleepy lion on a Range Rover (seriously we dangled the babies over the cage and he couldn’t even be bothered to lift his head: I kid, I kid–but seriously what is up with the lions in SD? Does the easy living kill their ferocity?)
In order to make the day not be a total waste, we took the girl over to the nearest cool zone, which they loved. Naomi like any normal kid spent all of her time splashing and playing in the water, while Isabella spent all of her

Look at her...she can't get enough
time running away from it onto the grass. (weird much?) All in all it was a fun day, even if we did totally blow it on the Animal Seeing Front.
How do your outings turn out?
Exactly as you planned, or do you find joy in the unexpected like we did? Let me know in the comments.

Hi Aja! It’s Stacey, Andy’s Manchester friend. I saw your post on facebook about your blog update so I checked it out. Love your blog! It’s great to read about you and Andy and life in SD. Looks like you guys are doing great!
Please tell Andy hi for me! I haven’t talked to him in forever and a day. I’ve seen Peter a couple of times in the recent past now that he’s in our neck of the woods.
Oh, and glad to know I’m not the only otherwise-sane mommy w/a Twilight obsession!!!
