So, last weekend I pulled myself away from all my twi-related MADNESS and got to hanging with my IRL friends as opposed to my interweb friends (who all rock…you know who you are!)

I can’t tell you how sad I am that I can’t be there with you right now to tell you this, and share in your day! Please KNOW that I would be there if I could, and that I am thinking about you!

So I bought a membership to the zoo, and in order to justify the cost to Andy get the

"Fun Size Edward" at the S.D. Zoo All U Can Eat Buffet! muahaha

most bang for my buck I am a frequent visitor.  Bella loves seeing all the animals, though she does have her favorites (Rhinos–Go figure) Anyway, here are a few pics taken from our recent Animal Excursions!

She’s Got IT!! (kind of)

O.K. Andy and I are sort of excited…Recently I’ve been working with Bella on Rhymes.  There is an episode of her FAVORITE show Ni Hao Kai Lan where the little Koala Tolee learns to rhyme, and she really likes to do that, so yesterday, we worked on Rhymes, and she pulled out this gem…ENJOY!

OK…so maybe we got a little ahead of ourselves there.  But even though it’s not an EXACT rhyme, at least we know she’s headed in the right direction, even if her steering is veering a little to the left.

HAPPY EASTER!!

I just wanted  to share a few pics of Our Easter Celebration.  Andy, Bella and I joined my best friend Jaime, and her family for Easter services and a mini-Egg Hunt followed by Easter Supper.  We had a good time, and the kids loved meeting the Easter Bunny and searching for Easter Eggs.

Naomi is unsure of her Father's motives in asking her to hug a GINORMOUS basket holding-candy dealing Bunny----I don't blame her!!

Bella on the other hand....sees the candy basket....

and knows just what to do!!

After church we headed home and had an egg hunt just for the girls!

Naomi takes off when she spots the EGGS!!

Bella shows a little more decorum...

But that didn't last long!

Bella Got that she was supposed to...

pick up as many eggs as she could!

Naomi on the other hand, seemed VERY HAPPY

With just two...

All in all it was a fun day….I can’t wait till next year, when they both really “Get” it!!

Spring has Sprung!

I’m trying to teach Bella about Spring, so we’ve been working on growing her Garden…She is so cute about it, she wears her little flip-flops outside, and makes sure to water them everyday.  Here are some pics chronicling the process.
